So\u2026 Moist wakes up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And immediately gets summoned by Vetinari again.
Which is never a \u201cgood morning\u201d kind of meeting \u2014 more like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGood morning. Let\u2019s discuss your next impossible task.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And here it is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udc49 Deliver a letter.
\ud83d\udc49 Across the city.
\ud83d\udc49 Faster than the Clacks (the semaphore network).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which is basically like telling someone:
\u201cJust outrun the internet. Shouldn\u2019t be too hard.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moist, of course, realizes instantly:
This is not a task.
This is a test<\/em>. And possibly an execution with paperwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But here\u2019s the twist \u2014 he accepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because somewhere along the way, he\u2019s stopped being just a con man avoiding death\u2026
and started being a guy who actually wants to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then we shift into operation mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moist gathers his crew \u2014 the weirdest startup team in Ankh-Morpork:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Stanley with his pins
\u2022 Groat with\u2026 whatever Groat is running on
\u2022 Adora Belle, who is basically the only adult in the room
\u2022 And a bunch of ex-con postmen who now believe in something again<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Moist does what he always does best:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udc49 He sells the impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not with facts.
Not with plans.
But with belief + momentum + just enough madness<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the stakes get clearer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Clacks company isn\u2019t just competition.
It\u2019s fragile. Corrupt. And quietly terrified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Moist starts to see the game properly:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn\u2019t about delivering one letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udc49 It\u2019s about proving that the Post Office is alive.
\ud83d\udc49 That people matter more than systems.
\ud83d\udc49 That human chaos can beat structured efficiency\u2026 sometimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then comes the deeper layer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adora Belle opens up more \u2014 about the damage the Clacks caused, the people hurt, the lives crushed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And suddenly the whole thing stops being a clever stunt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even for Moist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that\u2019s where Moist is now.
Not running.
Not bluffing.
