It\u2019s not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most habits run on autopilot. Your brain is basically a silent assistant making decisions without asking you.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The key idea:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You can\u2019t change what you don\u2019t see<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So the first step isn\u2019t discipline.<br>It\u2019s awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clear shows how experts (like doctors or firefighters) can \u201cfeel\u201d something is wrong without knowing why \u2014 their brain has seen patterns so many times it reacts instantly&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have the same thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just\u2026 usually with snacks and your phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Example<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You walk into the kitchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You\u2019re not hungry.<br>You\u2019re just\u2026 there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But:<br>You see cookies \u2192 brain goes \u201cinteresting\u201d<br>Next thing you know \u2192 cookie gone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No decision.
