Are we fixing the actual wound\u2026
or only improving the appearance of it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And maybe that is also true for people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes we try to \u201csolve\u201d sadness with distraction.
Loneliness with noise.
Distance with performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But the piano is still out of tune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That\u2019s why I liked the shift from
Type O Negative hatred-goth
toward something more like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
nordic tragic love, baltic fog, bittersweet respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Less destruction.
More understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not repainting the piano black \u2014
but finally trying to tune it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
